Environment

We try to respect our planet and save resources. Our heating and hot water system is powered by a heat pump, which means we are not burning coal or oil. The electricity we use from the grid is generated ecologically, and when the sun is shining we use solar panels for all or part of our energy needs.

The building is well insulated, so it’s sufficient for the radiators to be lukewarm and not hot like you might be used to at home. We aim to keep the rooms at around 20 °C. We expect most hot water demand to be at the following times, during which fully hot water should be available.

7 – 10 h
16 – 19 h

At other times of day, it’s possible that you may have to wait a few minutes for the hot water to come through because the hot water circulation system is not running, and it’s possible that it may not be as hot if the supply in the tank runs out.

If you would like to discuss anything relating to this, we are more than happy to chat about it in more detail. If you are not comfortable, please don’t hestitate to contact us.
